This volume totally blew me away, and afterwards only finishing it, I realize that I actually accept to read it again this weekend, just to really bask all the wonderous happenings in this book.

Skye.. oh I were in love and rooting from the her first thought, activeness and otherwise troubled soul.
The loose ends that sometimes makes u.s.a. wanna rip out our heads...? Not in this volume.. but still... the terminate just left you with wanting, no, needing to read more virtually the characters.
And girls... are you a fan of reverse harem? This is a treat for you right hither.
One kickass, emotional wreck of a heroine, but still levelheaded (sometimes), and Not stupid (airhead? Nope), merely ooooh soooo wonderfully conflicted and tortured.
And the men... oh good lord... there were times I simply needed to take a interruption, swoon a piddling, than contionue.
The characters develope, have chemical science, storyline is really thought through and the writing just sucks you in.. this volume messed with my sleep routine, and well.. now I accept to attempt my best to go information technology dorsum.
The only thing left...? How the HECK am I gonna find anything fifty-fifty remotely close every bit this wonderous volume? What am I gonna do with myself... honey Alisha Ashton, I am actually really, and I totally awsomely mean it, REALLY hoping for the 2nd volume.

I saw the warning signs, only I foolishly ignored them. I thought, look at all those 5 star reviews! Surely, this volition make a turn for the better.
I really liked the premise of this one: Badass chick that breaks out of her prison and kills all the vampires that were involved. That's a story I tin can become behind. I really liked the premise of this one: Badass chick that breaks out of her prison and kills all the vampires that were involved. That's a story I can get behind. In the midst of contesting her her final captor, she gets bitten by a werewolf. A top-underground human regime group takes her in, gives her medical attention and ships her off to the only werewolf they know in Scotland. All of this sounds promising, but somehow it all went wrong.
one. The main graphic symbol has been held captive from ages 12-21. That's 9 years of abuse, both physical and sexual. She'southward spent the last 3 years training and getting vengeance. So, her waltzing into a bar to kill the last of her captors and deeming a guy at the bar "fuckable" was a little disturbing to me. I'm no therapist, only shouldn't there be a little PTSD? A little hesitation? Granted, she doesn't act on the Miko thing, but only considering a battle begins. The sexual situation was out of identify and gave me a bad feeling, but I ignored it.
two. The human grouping. They ship Skye off to Scotland, Miko in tow. They're both welcomed into the castle, no questions asked. Miko runs blood tests on Skye, watches her transform, meets a bunch of werewolves, and there'southward no hesitation. Shouldn't at that place be some secrecy? Is no one concerned almost humans learning all the secrets of werewolf magic, or whatever? I mean, if information technology's no big, why couldn't Miko gain admittance before at present? Unfortunately, none of this is addressed.

Skye is also the almost adjustable person I've e'er encountered because she just rolls with everything. Turn into a werewolf and said werewolf goes into heat 24 hours subsequently? No big. Werewolf takes over your human form and gets down and dirty with a club full of men? No problem. Have public sex with a guy you just met? It'south ok, you lot sort of liked him anyhow. There is not a natural, emotional reaction to anything in the book.

A very good boot donkey paranormal romance. Get the twilight saga out of your head as this volume is so much darker. Its sexier and funnier and I was dragged through all kinds of emotions while reading this book. It has vampires and werewolves and some extra hot men thrown in for skilful measure.

What did I like? I feel like this book had a different earth than what I'm used to reading for vamps and shifters. I was interested in learning more from the kickoff. I got sucked in by about page 13% and had issues trying to put information technology down.
Would I recommend to everyone? No, I wouldn't recommend to anyone who doesn't love (or like) a little flake of paranormal in their reads. Allow'southward face it, if i doesn't like to read about vampires and werewolves, chances are he or she won't similar this book.
If you do like a lil fang in your reads, then I'd recommend this book.
Practise I have a favorite character? Nope. I liked several of the characters. The heroine wasn't a consummate idiot who was TSTL. The guys were flipping amazing.

Anyway the whole 500 + pages develop in the span of merely a few days before a big battle happen and we get our well-nigh pressing questions answered.
The majority of the volume is funny, with the kind of easy ribbing of males that know each other and are and so confident in each other's masculinity and friendship.
